Hailee Birdtail is a proud Gros Ventre Tribal member from the Fort Belknap Indian Community located in North-Central Montana. She serves as the Reentry Coordinator, where she is passionate about supporting individuals impacted by the criminal justice system and firmly believes in the power and importance of second chances.
Hailee holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Indian Studies from Haskell Indian Nations University, a Master of Arts in Indigenous Studies from the University of Kansas, and a Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma. Her academic and professional journey is rooted in a deep commitment to uplifting marginalized and BIPOC communities and advocating for justice and equity.
Outside of work, Hailee enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Sinsnca and Milo, attending spin classes, being outdoors, and sharing time with her loved ones.
