Kayla serves as a MSW student intern through EWU at HJRA. While earning their BA in psychology at CWU, they fell in love with researching the relationship between mental well-being and access to (or lackthereof) community services, leading them to seek their MSW. Kayla has experience working in healthcare, leadership development, and adolescent mentoring and hopes to work more with families and adolescents in the future.
In their spare time, Kayla enjoys exploring new places with their family, trying new recipes, and tap dancing. Kayla looks forward to engaging more with their community and exploring all that Spokane has to offer.
